Nawabi Indian Takeaway

The Nawabi stepped in with some last minute catering for a birthday party for 60 people. They were really helpful with the menu - we had someone who needed a gluten free menu and someone else who needed dairy free. The food arrived hot and on time and was absolutely delicious. Everyone commented on how tasty the food was. We had the afghani chicken, vegetable kharia, pakora, rice and rotis. Communication beforehand was very good. Would definitely use them again!

Been wanting to try the food from here for a while, seen lots of positive reviews on social media. I can see now why that is, ordering over the phone was very straightforward, had to wait a while for delivery though, nearly considered marking them down slightly for this, however they did phone me back to let me know when the driver was on their way, never known any other places do this. Very impressed with the quality of the food, delivered piping hot and full of flavour, can't wait to order from here again!

We have just moved into the area and have been trying to find a place that can offer quality Indian food at a reasonable price with good service included. We have definitely food it at Nawabi Baildon. The friendliness of Ali who took our order was a breath of fresh air compared with what we ate used to where we used to live. The driver (sorry didn’t get his name) was also so friendly. The food came when promised and the popadoms and pickle tray were very fresh. The onion bhajis were to die for and the curry that i had recommended was perfect taste served ‘Asian style.’ Just right for me. We are happy to have found our regular weekly curry.

Had our first takeaway from Nawabi and absolutely loved it! As first time customers, they also threw in a taster portion of a chef special curry for us to try. All the curries were 10/10 and absolutely great customer service!

Absolute 10 out 10. Service - absolutely fantastic, really friendly and polite staff. We live literally down the road so they offered to ring us when it's 5 minutes away so we could pick it up. To top it off, I forgot my drinks and they ran up the street for me! Price - really good value for money. Got starters, curries, rice and a drink each between 2 of us and it came with the standard salad on the side and sauces too. Less than 40 quid but we paid in cash with 15% discount so nearly 30. Portion sizes are massive, got enough for my lunch tomorrow so in a way almost 4 meals worth. Also got some free afghan chicken as it was our first time which is a nice gesture. Food - brilliant! Got a Gaddar curry which was delicious (see pic) and my girlfriend loved her food too. Meat cooked to perfection and good levels of spice Overall, think I've found my new favourite takeaway 😍

We ordered takeaway on Saturday evening as we were in the area in our camper. Ordered two curries onion bahjis plain rice with a garlic nan. Went for a drink whilst the order was prepared and called me when it was ready. We really enjoyed the meal and it was as good an Indian takeaway as I can remember for some time. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be sure to return.

Great friendly staff. The food is delicious. I got Onion Rice which is the best I’ve ever had anywhere and Chicken Dupiaza. In 30 years of takeaways this is in my top 3. 100% recommended. I’m just upset I live just under 100 miles away.
